Description for Falcon Trail
Falcon Trail is a great ride, especially if you go to the Air Force Academy/live or work nearby. It is a great well marked trail and you get do the whole thing in one hour. It is all singletrack trail with a nice flow, the western part of the ride is more technical then the rest of the ride, there is a little bit of climbing and some fun downs. There are several road crossings so watch for traffic, it is easy to just pop out of the trail and almost get hit.

I rode this trail for the first time today. It's a pretty fun trail, but make sure you have a lot of energy for the climbs; they take a lot out of you. There are also a lot of small "hills" that you can jump off of. These add a level of excitement to the ride. Also, if you dont know the trail well, I'd recommend taking it slow on the downhill sections. There are a lot of switchbacks and rocks that will jump out at you real quick. When I rode there today, I popped a hill at speed and there was a decent sized rock waiting to fling me over the bars and bend my front wheel.
All in all, a fun trail.
Oh, and the ride time is closer to two hours according to most people. I didn't get to finish the trail, so I can't attest to this.
