Description for Peaks Trail
Peaks trail was our absolute favorite Breckenridge (Frisco) trail, we did the ride as an out and back, but it can be shuttled. The trail is just an all around fun ride. It was not overly technical so Intermediate riders should be able to ride almost everything. Beginners should probably search for another place to ride.
It goes without saying that this area is breath taking (as is the climb if you don't shuttle). You should expect some great terrain on a well maintained, easy to follow trail with a few technical spots to keep you on your toes. The fun really begins when you start the descent, you can really rip. Be warned though, there is a ton of foot traffic, so always be on the look out for hikers. Several times some of the best downhill parts where interrupted so try to get on the trail early or better yet on a weekday.

Not much more to be said that the description didn't cover. Gentle trail, with some short sections that will make it interesting. I did the ride in the rain after 1.5 days of on-off again rain. The base is solid gravel bed, so really no mud to speak off. A good trail to know that it can be done wet....but watch out for the wet roots!!
