Description for Bakers Tank Loop
Banker's Tank is a great ride, the first part of the ride is about an hour of fireroad grinding until you reach the Banker's Tank, you cant miss it, it is a giant wooden water tank straight out of old west movies (plus there is a sign on it that says Banker's Tank). The trail turns to singletrack shortly after the water tank for a bit more alpine climbing through the trees. Soon you will reach some your reward, some sweet super fast downhill.
It is pretty easy to get turned around there are several areas that look like you should turn, so bring a GPS or someone that knows the trail, it is easy to miss the turn as you rip down the mountain.

What a fantastic trail. We drove up to top of Boreas Pass and brought another car down to the bottom of South Fork Valley. It's a perfect mix of climbing and sweet flowy downhill with some gorgeous views. Plenty of loose rocky descents to keep you on your toes. Find a local to show you around as there are tons of other trails nearby. We spent over 4 hours in the saddle and went down the backside of Boreas Pass ending up in South Fork valley and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the old train depot. An epic ride indeed
