Description for Hall Ranch Loop
Hall Ranch is one of the best trails in the Boulder area. There are actually two trailheads. The main one has a very technical but completely ridable rock garden about 1.5 miles into the ride and about a mile long.
Once past this the trail dips down and meets up with the Antelope Valley trail. Hall Ranch trail then continues up to another fun loop. This trail is mostly wide singletrack due to the traffic level but it is fast and fun. Hall Ranch can be linked to other Boulder county trails like Picture Rock and Heil Ranch via a very short ride on the road.

This is my absolute favorite ride in this area. multiple points of entry onto the trail allows this to be for beginners or for uber advanced riders. I decided to attack the front side (advanced) and ended up going over the handlebars more than once! super fun, but technical as hell. I completed the entire trail in 2.5 hours including trying to scale the rock walls on the front side.
I later tried the back side only and completed the entire trail in 1 hour. much easier, but im addicted to the extreme nature of the front side.
my advice... go for it and hit the front side.

This trail is a must ride. It is a well designed and maintained trail with fast sweeping singletrack and an incredibly fun TECHNICAL section. (refine your trials skills here...) The elevation gain/loss is moderate and the views particularly in the morning are awesome.
