Description for Betasso Preserve
These trails are closed to mountain bikers on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Betasso Preserve is a great place to ride for people new to mountain biking and want to get some more experience riding singletrack, there are many sections that are just narrow enough for one bike, but the trail is well maintained, and not overly technical, which makes it a great place to practice and improve biking skills. It is about a three mile loop, and the park rangers change the direction of the loop every now and then to mix up the use of the trail.
If you want to increase mileage and up the technical factor, ride the Boulder Canyon Connector trail to get to the Betasso Preserve.

This is one of my favorite light trails in the boulder area. easy access and a quick, fun workout. the whole loop can be done in 35 mins if you really want to get your heart rate up.
watch the signs. there is a designated right of way and it changes daily. also, there are "hiking days only" i believe its weds and saturday. no riding on those days.
enjoy this ride!
