Description for Teocali Ridge
We did several trips to Crested Butte without ever riding Teocali Ridge, with so many great trails it was easy to over look. Never again will we visit without doing this ride. Sure there is a lot of climbing, sure there is a ton of scary exposure, sure the downs are insane, sure we do a bit of hike-a-bike, sure the trail has some uber technical spots, sure we are mentally and physically drained after this ride, but man this trail is just cool.
The advanced rating for this one is no joke, be sure you know your abilities and ride within them, this is not the trail to push yourself past your limits on, the potential for getting hurt is huge on this ride.
