Description for Mt Diablo North Ridge
The Mt Diablo North Ridge Trial is one of the areas best rides. The trail is best suited for advanced level riders. It is a mix of singletrack and fireroads. It is easy to reach insane speeds on some of the downhill sections, which is not good since the trail is shared with hikers and horses, so be sure to keep your speed in check. Of course all the downhill means that there is a fair amount of climbing, so be prepared for the grind (over 3k of climbing), which makes it a great place to build strength and endurance. This is a great ride and should be on your must ride list.
