Description for Emigrant
The Emigrant Trail is an intermediate level cross-country style ride, but beginners willing to push themselves should not have to much trouble. There is a fair amount of climbing and some nice downhill action. The trail is very scenic and has some great terrain that includes creek crossings, a few odd switchbacks that are angled the wrong direction, as well as some steep ups and downs, rock gardens, and roots.
The trail is shared with horse and foot traffic so keep an eye out when you are racing throughout the fast sections.

Super easy ride, not very steep, it a nice trail to get some miles in but if you want something to get your heart rate up this isn't the trail. Great for views, bring a lunch and enjoy a peaceful cruse through the Jeffery Pine and Sage Brush.
