Description for Downieville Downhill
The Downieville Downhill is the most popular ride in Downieville due to the 5000 feet of awesome decent with very little climbing. The trail is a combination of Butcher Ranch and the Third Divide trails. It is a must ride if you are visiting the area. The trail is an intermediate to advanced trail, but the remoteness of the trail means that you should be extra careful when out riding.
There is a little bit of everything on this ride, sweet singletrack, fireroads, creek crossings, fun kickers, and plenty of technical challenges. Setting up shuttle is not that painful but we recommend you pay someone to run shuttle for you. This trail should be on your must ride list if you have never ridden the area before.

What can I say, one of the best rides I've ever ridden. The scenery is perfection and the trails are fast. Too much to list.
