Description for San Ysidro
The San Ysidro ride is an advanced and really fun ride. We are not certain if the recent wild fires changed the area, but prior to the fires the trail was a technical wonderland full of loose craziness, tight switchbacks, steps, creek crossings, and drops. The ride can easily be combined with Romero Canyon as the up and then take San Ysidro down, or course that means over 7 miles of climbing.
There is a lot of tension between hikers and bikers on this trail, so be courteous and respect their rights to share the trail.
This should be at the top of your must ride list if you are going to be in the area.
