Description for Joseph D Grant Park
The Joseph D. Grant County Park offers up a great mix of singletrack and fireroad riding. The main trail is a fireroad with tons of singletrack options forking off at on at various places throughout the ride. The park is very scenic and has some amazing views with a wide array of wildlife and vegetation.
One thing to take note of when visiting the park, there is a TON of climbing, some come prepared for some leg burn as you make your way through the angulating elevation changes. Of course all of the climbing rewards you with insanely fast descents. Because there are so many different ride options the really is something for riders of all ability levels, beginners and families can enjoy the main track and more experienced riders can explore the singletrack.
