Description for Purisima Creek
The Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve has some of the best singletrack and fireroad rides in the immediate area. It is shocking how little use these trails see, given the beauty and the quality of the trails. The fireroad sections have some super fun water bar jumps, the singletrack has good flows and technical challenges. If you are going to be in the area this should be only our must ride list. The riding is well suited for intermediate level riders, beginners willing to push themselves will likely enjoy the fireroad sections of the trail.

fast downhill right out of the gates and then some fun, flowy single track down to the burmed out jumps along the creek. if you are going fast enough you can get some good air, which really isnt that hard...its harder to go slow here.
the climb out is fine, nothing exciting...but def a good XC ride. ive read that the fastest times have been around 45 minutes which is hauling...i did 60 and i have no idea how im going to get to 45.
fun and a good weekly fitness ride for sure
