Description for Hollenbeck Canyon
Hollenbeck Canyon like a lot of trails in the San Diego area is a mix of fireroads and singletrack. The trail has a lot of climbing, so come prepared to burn some calories and to work on your climbing endurance. There is a fair amount of exposure so the opportunity for a big fall is real, be careful and ride within your ability level. There is a lot of sand which can get frustrating at times.
Overall this is a good ride and worth exploring.
