Deep Creek Trail is a good mix of singletrack and fireroad riding, there is nothing insanely technical, in fact the majority of the riding is well suited for strong beginners and intermediate level riders. The trail is actually a really fun ride, that does not tend to see much MTB traffic. The elevation changes are manageable because you typically get a nice recovery after each climb.
