Description for Sweetwater Trail
Like the Darrington Trail, it is best to start the Sweetwater Trail just off of Salmon Falls Road. You can make a nice loop out of this ride, hugging the Folsom Lake shoreline and making your way up Flagstaff Hill and then back to your car. The ride is well suited for intermediate level riders and is a mix of singletrack and fireroads. The most technical part of at the ride is probably a fairly tricky rock garden, which can easily be walked but is rideable. This is not really a trail that you would want to drive out of your way just to ride, but if you are in the area it is worth checking out.

Follows Lake from Fire Road Entrance to Parking Lot then Back. Single Track most of the way, rolling hills, nothing real technical but also not just hard pack rock patches and some beg/intermediate rocks on the trail. Couple steep climbs but everything is short duration. Easily done in an hour out and back.
