Description for Sycamore Canyon Park
Sycamore Canyon Park is probably the most popular place to ride in the area, and for good reason, there are trails for riders of all ability levels, the singletrack is really good and makes as great place for all around cross country riding as well as DH/freeriding. There are tons of different trail combinations which will keep you coming back for more and because of the ever increasing challenges that you are able to tackle you will be dreaming about your next ride here. Some of the stuff is big, big drops, big rocks, big consequences, so be sure to scout areas before rolling through at top speed. This should be on your must ride list.

This ride is a decent workout, but I would not make this ride a destination. I traveled from Temecula to Sycamore canyon, about a 45 minute drive and was disappointed. i could have reached Hurkey Creek in about the same time. If you live local to Sycamore then you have an awesome place to train-rolling hills and a decent climb....some great single track. I live about 10 minutes from Vail Lake-similarly that’s where I train. But if you’re like me and want something fun and challenging then make your destination Big Bear, Idywild, or Laguna/Cuyamacca not Sycamore Canyon.
