Description for Skyline
Fire roads provide easy access to the top of the trail. From there you have several options.
1) go back down fire road the way you came
2) go down a singletrack
3) a variation of both.
Some single tracks don't start till always down the fire road. The trails are all pretty advanced, but not impossible. There are three main trails, the hardest being called "Diablo" is recommended for downhillers only.
Each trail is unique, and has multiple paths to take within it, but as long as you keep going down you will end up in the same place. Be warned that there are many very steep sections filled with deep ruts and jagged rocks, but as long as you take the first two trails or the fire road these are not that many. If it is your first time on the trail I recommend going with a local, or simply going down with other riders who have ridden it before. Many riders in corona come to these trails so it is more than likely you will see someone or a group of guys you can tag along with.
All three singletracks drop into a more mellow canyon that can be both fast paced and technical or slow and easy. There are many berms and rocks, and also jumps and drops, however the drops and jumps are optional. This canyon empties out at the top of the street mangular, much below the fire road. However, there is a trail to the right, a very steel graded hill, that will take you to the street foothill, much closer to bottom o fire road (for if you parked your car at the bottom). The canyon is a good ride in itself, and you can even just park your car at the top of mangular and ride the canyon.
Overall there is a diverse amount of riding here, something for everybody.
