The ride shown actually integrates several trails. Starting at the Alicia Parkway/Aliso Creek park entrance, travel down the paved road until you take a right on the main trail. Continue straight until you're at the bottom of a near-singletrack "Cholla" trail. Climb that to the ridge, head down the "Rock-it" trail, staying to the right at the bottom and continuing up the "Mathis" trail. Turn left at the top of Mathis and go through a residential area until you reach the top of the "Meadow" trail. Head down to the paved road and back to your car.
I learned Mountain biking in this park. The lower trails are great for learning, but easy. Cholla is still a challenge for me not to dab, got to pick the right non-sandy line. Rock-it still gets my adrenaline pumping, got to go fast enough to ease over the baby heads, but stay in control. Mathis is a a grind, and Meadow is fast with quick turns.
