Description for Los Pinetos Trail
Park at Placerita Nature Center about a mile off the 14 to the south on Placerita Canyon road. Gear up and head to the back of the area and find the trail head well marked at the back. The ride consists of a mile of nice fun creek trail followed by a moderate climb to the camp area. Then the fun begins. Take a right onto the Los Pinetos trail and prepare for a couple of miles of climbing (about 1800 ft total) with some of it crazy steep. A real lung buster. The top offers great views and a toilet. Turn around and enjoy the fast, steep and flowing downhill the way you rode up. PLEASE be respectful and mindful of hikers or we will lose this great trail.
