Take la tuna canyon fire road up. Not too steep but a good workout. You can descend back down the fire road, but for a more exciting downhill, take the fire road to the right. Make sure to try the singletrack trails that crisscross the fire road. They are a lot of fun and have some small manmade features. When you get to a *single-seat* bench on the north side of the trail, turn right and take the singletrack down. Stay to your right at the next two forks (these are very easy to miss). From there its pretty hard to get lost. This trails got a little bit of everything: steep n rocky, fast n flowly, creek crossings, theres one ladder towards the end, and very narrow the whole way down. No big drops or overly technical sections, but also not for beginners. Definitely one of the best singletracks in the area. Dumps you about a mile west of where you started on la tuna canyon.
