Description for Beatty Dearing
The Beatty Dearing trail offers up some advanced singletrack riding right in the heart of the city. It is wonderful that enough green space has been preserved to keep this trail alive and available to mountain bikers. The trail is fairly challenging and can be combined with some others in the area to extend the mileage. There are some good jumps, ups and downs, switchbacks, creek crossings, water bars, step ups and drops to keep you on your toes and wanting more. There are tons of hikers on the weekends so it is good to get there early or late in the day (night riding is also a fun option) to avoid dealing with foot traffic.
