Description for Aliso Canyon
Best way to ride Aliso is the up down, up down route. Start at the base of Chollas. Head up to ridgeline, ride to the top of Rockit, bomb down. Then ride to the base of Mathis and ride up to ridgeline. Bun h of false summits. The. Ride to the Top of the World, and meander through the million dollar houses to the top of Meadows. Swoon down Meadows an you're done. Great ride and a bit for everyone. Definitely intermediate in certain sections!

I would recommend parking on Alta Laguna Park, located at the end of Alta Laguna Blvd. Ride the Westridge Trail (2 miles)and from there you can pick the trail you want to ride down to the Canyon... or ride them all!!! There is something for all levels of experience. I rode Mathis Canyon Trail and Cholla Trail. Mathis is about 1.2 miles long and was pretty fun for me (un-experienced biker). Cholla seems to be the shortest of all the trails but it is pretty intense, steep, rocky, tight curbs all the way down (used up all my brakes on that one)
