Description for Palm Canyon Trail
The Palm Canyon Trail is an advanced level singletrack ride. The ride can be done as a shuttle or a loop, the loop is fairly grueling so be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks if you plan to do that ride. In all the climbing is pretty smooth and the downhill is pretty wicked. The trail is very reminiscent of Noble Canyon in terrain and elevation change. The more challenging aspects of the trail are small drops, creek crossings (the water can be deep) and off camber turns on very steep sections.
The scenery is out of this world, so bring your camera.

Usually a term reserved for backcountry powder hounds, we found ourselves cruising through 3 inches of new snow on this trail 3/9/12. Talk about surreal. The trail was still amazing. Got out of snow at the 2500 foot level. This trail offers it all crazy technical sidehills, switch backs and drops as well as great rollers and beat it out wash riding. Glad I brought two tubes as I needed them both. Close encounters of the cactus kind should be prepared for. We rode from Ribbonwood entrance and then cut over to Dunn Road and out to Cat.City.
