Description for Idyllwild Alvin Meadows Trail
The Idyllwild Alvin Meadows Trail (AKA Isomata) has terrain for riders of all ability levels. There is a virtual spaghetti bowl of trials that criss-cross each other and reconnect at various times. The riding is fund and the trails are well maintained. There is a fair amount of elevation change, but of the most part the climbs all have good recovery periods and are not sustained for long distances. The trails are flowy and twisty and offer up all around great XC style riding opportunities. The more technical aspects to the ride include tight switchbacks, rock gardens, roots, boulders, logs, and some steep ups and downs. In all this is a great place to ride.
