Description for Feather Falls Trail
The Feather Falls trails has a choice of two trails the upper or lower. If you ride the upper towards the falls it is a nicely cleared packed dirt, in about 4.5 miles the trail reconnected with the lower trail and to a third trail that goes to the falls. It is a tough rocky climb to get to falls with a bit of hike-a-bike in sections. The views of falls are beautiful and make the extra effort worth while. You can then retrace your steps back to junction and took lower trail back to parking lot. There is a 3.5 mile climb entirely uphill. The reverse route may be easier, take lower first and return on upper and maybe leave bike at junction to explore the falls.

Choice of two trails upper or lower. I road upper towards the falls. Nicely cleared packed dirt. 4.5 miles later trail reconnected w lower and a third trail goes to the falls. Tough rocky climb to get to falls. Had to carry bike in sections. Beautiful view of falls made it worth it though. Retraced my steps back to junction and took lower trail back to parking lot. 3.5 mile climb entirely uphill. If I do again I would reverse it, take lower first and return on upper and maybe leave bike at junction to explore the falls.
