Description for Thunder Mountain
The most convent place to get onto the Thunder Mountain trail is just off Hwy 88 to the summit. Which sets you up for a few miles of uphill grinding through the forest to a fairly technical ridgeline traverse. The climb is tough in places and the surface is pretty loose at times which can get frustrating but it is well worth it. This will allow you to connect to Horse Canyon Trail and do that amazing descent.
