Description for Squaw Leap
We have said that if you can only ride one ride in Fresno it should be the San Joaquin River Trail, but this trail is about 30 miles north of Fresno and if we had to choose between the two we would recommend Squaw Leap is a great ride and should be on your must ride list. Of course you could just ride both. Squaw Leap is a lot of fun, there is a fair amount of climbing which is means a lot of fun downhill. There are some technical aspects to the trail, but nothing overly insane, intermediate riders will be able to clean the majority of the terrain. Watch your tire placement, there are a few places that have a lot of exposure, a fall off a cliff will ruin anyone's day.
