Description for Little Bald Hills Trail
The Little Bald Hills trail can be ridden to the back country camp from stout grove, which is about 3.3 miles. It is a steady uphill grade all the way there, over mostly smooth and occasionally graveled singletrack trail. The ride has awesome scenery! Thankfully, what goes up must come back down and it was a total bomb-fest down smooth and buttery trail, screaming past monster redwoods. It doesn't get much better. It is possible to shuttle the ride for a one way trip by staging a vehicle at the other trail end which would be somewhere around a 10 mile ride.
