Description for Upper Bidwell Park
Technically there is no Bidwell Bump Trail. Bidwell Bump is an annual mountain bile race with a few courses laid our based upon the class. The Budwell Bump 'expert' course starts at the Easter Cross parking lot (located near the entrance to Upper Bidwell Park). Racers ascend North Rim Trail for 2 miles and then decent down B-Trail, a black diamond technical singletrack, to the Fireroad. Riders decent on the fire road and cross Big Chico Creek and then ascend 10 Mile trail to the Guardian trailhead and begin their decent down the south rim of the canyon, joining onto South Rim about a mile later. The course ends behind the Bidwell Golf Course.
