Description for Lower Trail
Lower Trail is one of the major trails in Upper Bidwell Park. It starts at Parking Area E, near Horseshoe Lake. The trail parallels Upper Park Road for a while, where it eventually ends by reaching the roadway near Bear Hole. With some technical sections early on the trail is generally an intermediate XC trail. The trail is popular for both hiking and bicycling. It is generally considered to be not as difficult of a bike ride as Middle Trail and the even more advanced Upper Trail.

Enter Upper Bidwell Park on Upper Park Road and pass Bidwell Golf course then park at Parking Area E, near Horseshoe Lake.
