Description for Guardians Trail
Guardian's Trail shuttle with some Lower Park singletrack at the end. Start at Green Gate on Hwy 32, ride Guradian's down all the way. This is almost ALL downhill aside from some flat stuff near the bottom and in Lower Park. It's also a super rocky trail, so full suspension bikes are much more fun. But if you don't have a FS bike, it's still a great ride, just a bit rough especially at the bottom.
Directions to Guardians Trail Trailhead
Drive up Hwy 32 about 7 miles East of Chico. Stop at the "Green Gate" aka 10 Mile House Road. If you see La Castana Drive, you've gone too far! The first part below the gate is steep double track with some fun rollers. Take your first left onto singletrack and enjoy the ride down! Around the mid point there are some steep, rocky technical sections on ravines and exposed cliffs so be careful.
