Description for Neon Way Mission Peak
The Neon Way Mission Peak trail is an intermediate to advanced trail that is ridden as an out and back ride. In all there is probably about 12 miles of singletrack and fireroad riding (maybe more, it is worth exploring). The climbing can be pretty challenging and gets most riders off there bike several times, and there are a couple of very steep down sections that many choose to walk. In all there is not a ton of hike-a-bike but enough to frustrate some riders. There are signs that warn you about mountain lions but no riders we talked to had ever seen any (which does not mean they are not there of course).
This is definitely a fun and challenging ride and worth checking out if you are in the area and looking for something new to ride.

Just rode a very short section of this. I had my single speed and the climb was a bit too steep...would have been fine on a regular geared bike. The singletrack straight down the face was awesome. It's steep and fast. But even the fire road looked like it would have been fun to ride down. I'll definitely be back for a longer ride here.
