Description for Steam Donkey
Steam Donkey has to be one of the best trail names ever. The aptly name trail is a great piece of singletrack that is often combined with other trails The best place to start (and finish) the ride is just of off Skyline Blvd. The ride has some very step climbs that are a real challenge to clean (especially on your first visit). About 3/4 of the way down, Steam Donkey intersects Gordon Mill, you can continue straight on Gordon Mill, but you will miss the last section of Steam Donkey, which you do not want to do, so take the left at the Steam Donkey sign, then you can make a right back onto Gordon Mill, and climb back up. This trail is a blast and should be on your must ride list if you are a skilled rider.
