Description for Shuteye Peak
Many riders combine Shuteye Peak and 007, which makes a fantastic all day mountain biking adventure. Be warned if you do both rides, it is easy to get caught in the dark. It is recommended that you start early in the morning and pack a light just in case something happens and you get stuck riding in the dark. It is possible to shuttle part of the ride which cuts out a fair amount of uphill riding. Some people actually setup camp at Gaggs Camp and do the ride over a two day period.
The trail is extremely scenic and has some mind blowing views, so be sure to pack your camera to get some great pictures of Mammoth Mountain. Be sure to take plenty of water, you will not find any along the ride.
