i like to do this ride because you can either enter by bike alone or in your car. Lots of parking.
i usually start by riding on top of the dam which is all nicely paved and flat. you might encounter some headwinds once in a while.
after you get to the end of the paved road there is a quick right that will take you down onto to the dirt road. this is where you sweat the most.
it is almost all flat, with a little bit of an incline at the end.
i've been riding this park for a bit and in 1 1/2 years I've seen 2 rattle snakes. so keep an eye out for that all the cute little bunnies that you may encounter, there are a lot of those!
2. forgot to mention $8 car fee

sometimes they charge sometimes they don't, most of the time i don't pay. if you go past 5:30pm in the summer is nearly always free to enter, the park closes at 8.
