Description for Santa Fe Dam interior trail
Narrow single track that seems to be the only one in the park that is worth any thrill. Close to cactus, and other nasty tire poppers, so technical difficulty would not be for the beginner!
Directions to Santa Fe Dam interior trail Trailhead
Take paved road between the nature center and the 210 FWY underpass. When you get to the top of the hill on paved road, you will see a tiny trail facing south, which goes down a steep 12 degree hill, and over smaller dunes. Do not get this trail confused with trailhead at the bottom of either side of hill. This trail starts at the top of hill, so you might have to investigate like I did. There is usually a stack of small rocks to indicate trail. Good luck and enjoy.

Found the trail as posted. First obstacle was hill, white knuckle baby! After that, the trail is rough, hard to see a defined trail. Probably is not ridden that much. Watch out for the cactus!
