Description for Old Post Park
Old Post Park is a great trail and offers some fun riding. The main trail relatively flat and easy with spurs up or down hills. Black Bra and Powerline trails are more challenging. There is truly something for every level of rider at Old Post Park. Some of the more technical terrain in includes creek crossings some short steep hills, switchbacks, and a couple jumps but overall the trail is pretty smooth. This is probably not a trail that someone should drive hours out of their way to ride, but if you are looking for a fun way to spend a few hours or live in the area it is worth the time.

This is where I learned to mountain bike 10 years ago, it's wonderful trail for beginners & hammer heads alike. This trail is a multi loop system nestle in the piney woods on the Arkansas river. Water is available at the trailhead.

Nice trail...nice mix of climbing and shredding.
There are a few challenging parts on this trail, namely a solid rock step-up of about 1.5 feet & a pretty gnarly creek crossing on the lower portion of trail right before it.
Im guessing some folks are trying to be trail blazers as there were new 'trails' all over the upper portion of the trail. It actually is turning into a spaghetti bowl up there...so I hope someone is able to stop the damage.
Overall, great ride...definitely worth a stop!
