When it says skill for all types they were not joking, trying it for the first time you think your on a easy trail then it gets tough. Towards the south side there are loops from hard to easy. Very fun.

As a Casa Grande local, I ride this network of trails several times a week. There are numerous options and ways to string together several loops to create around 20 miles of riding. The city of Casa Grande has spent the last two years building miles (about 5) of new trail higher up on the mountain. They have also built new trail heads on the east side and on the north side. Currently, the east trailhead would provide the best starting point to place you more in the middle of the park. Local group rides are run Tuesday's, Thursdays', and Friday's from the east parking lot around 5:00pm. Then again Saturday at 8:00am on the north side. The evening rides get later and morning rides get earlier as we get further into summer.

CG Mountain (as the locals refer to it) is truly a mixed difficulty trail. Want easy jeep trail/fire road riding? It's there. You want aerobic lung busting climbs (short, steep, and sometimes technical)? It's there. You want intermediate/advanced technical single track? It's there. Maybe you want a little of everything. Not a problem. Since Casa Grande has been spending some quality time with the mountain, several miles of sweet trail have emerged that wasn't there just a year ago. And it's just the start. There are plans to construct even more next build season (Oct-Apr). If you've tried CG mountain before and you weren't impressed, it's worth a second look. If you've done it before and loved what was there you have even more to explore and ride. Easy to get to off of I-10 with plenty of parking at two new trail heads (one on the North side off Peart and one on the East side at the end of Arica) and lots of opportunity to ride without the crowds of other trails in AZ.
