Description for Monte Sano State Park
The Monte Sano State Park trails offer some rocky fun singletrack goodness. Recently a huge number of trail that were previously closed to mountain biking were officially opened increasing the total mile of trail open to mountain biking to over 50 miles. With that addition this may be the best riding in the entire state! The trails offer something for everyone, for beginners there are plenty of places to explore, more advanced riders will be challenged by the varied terrain, technical ups and great downhills.

Has to be my favorite place to ride! Trails are very well kept. Some of the trails have good places to climb/repell of to the sides. (ex. Family bike trail near the War path ridge trail). At the bottom of the mountain there's a bike shop called Trailhead Inc. which in my oppinon is the best one in town. Also some great places to eat by the bike shop; mullens, po boys. The park does charge 3 dollars a person at times. But if they are charging find somewhere to par outside the park and bike in. They do not charge you to bike in.
